I’ve been taking Spanish classes with Astrid for almost two years, and she is truly an outstanding teacher. As an attorney, it was important to me to learn Spanish that is both professional and accessible for my clients. On a personal level I’m also learning Spanish to communicate with family and friends. I’m Puerto Rican so she also takes the time to research Puerto Rican vocabulary and expressions, helping me understand the cultural and regional differences across Latin America. Taking Spanish lessons with Astrid has been an excellent experience. Her teaching style is clear, patient, and engaging. The lessons are productive and enjoyable. I had a lot of prior knowledge of Spanish so she and I tend to just talk and have conversations about every topic under the sun.
